A Good Mechanic can be a like Good Hair Dresser.

You might be at home enjoying your wonderful turkey today, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It doesn’t mean we can’t share a wonderful blog post with you. Today we discuss how your mechanic should be like your hairdresser. Although our hands are pretty dirty from changing the oil, you may not want us touching  your hair LOL.

I am sure that we can all agree that we tend to stick to the same hairdresser, usually for years right? Well don’t be afraid to pick a mechanic the same way. We should be someone that you can trust and rely on, and also be there for you when you need us most, without an appointment.

Often a good mechanic will tell you how it is, no beating around the bush, just as a good hairdresser would tell you if it’s time to change your hair, or recommend a good conditioner. At Top Gear we hope to be your “hair dressers” and we will always tell you straight up what your car needs or sometimes doesn’t need.

All that being said we just thought of a very good point. If mechanics are like are hair dressers, then why are we always the ones giving tips? LOL Wouldn’t that be funny if we tipped our mechanics just like our hairdressers. We aren’t opposed to it.
